The Nl-9231 is a high-density sound and vibration module that can measuresignals from integrated electronic piezoelectric (lEPE) and non-lEPE sensorssuch as accelerometers, tachometers, and proximity probes. lt can performthe high dynamic range measurements necessary for modern measurementmicrophones and accelerometers and features simultaneous sampling. TheN1-9231 incorporates both a TEDS input path and 2 mA oflEPE signalexcitation source that can be turned on and off, removing the need forexternal sensor power and reducing the complexity ofthe data acquisitionsystem.
