Athermalized LWIR Lens
Since that most materials have properties that change with temperature, and all the materials that can be used to make lens for the LWIR waveband have properties that change.
By adopting the optical or mechanical compensation in the lenses design, the athermalized infrared lenses are insensitive to environmental temperature variations and maintain the focus position without power.

Manual Focusing LWIR Lens
Manual focusing on a LWIR lens is just what it sounds like, the ability to manually focus using the ring around the lens. It allows you complete control of where your camera is focusing. This option will enable you to take shots of your chosen subjects, without needing to struggle with or settle with what the automatic focus function has chosen for you.
We are able to produce elements with two aspherical surfaces and provide stable, low-cost, high-quality and low-weight lenses required for a variety of thermal imaging applications. Our lenses are excellent essential components for infrared imaging applications.
The SupIR 75mm f/1.2 manual focus longwave infrared imaging lens has a focal length of 75.0 mm and an f-number of 1.2. This single field of view (1-FOV) lens is designed for 1024x768 XGA format uncooled LWIR cameras.

Motorized Focusing LWIR Lens
Motorized focusing lens use motor to control the focusing procedure, therefore this allows users can use electrical signal to keep the focus distance clear.
Uncooled thermal lenses are widely used in thermal imaging cameras, thermal imaging observation, industry, medical and other fields. There are 3 main types of lenses.
Thermal lenses are primarily used in small fixed-mount applications, such as security cameras. Thermal-free lenses keep images at different temperatures without having to stay in focus. Therefore, cameras that are not easy for humans to focus manually are very popular, such as towers far away from the city, cameras on the mountains.
Manual focus fixed focus lenses are mainly used for handheld portable devices, such as thermal imaging cameras, monocular telescopes, thermal imaging cameras, etc. Manual focus allows free adjustment of imaging. Therefore, better imaging quality can be obtained manually.
Electric focus lenses are mainly used for large size lenses. Manual focus is often difficult. The motorized lens is also easy to control remotely. Autofocus can be achieved with core or thirty-part autofocus plates. We offer fast autofocus times of less than 2 seconds.
A connector for the thermal core is standard if required. We can provide various connectors upon request.
LWIR Zooming Lens
Motorized focusing lens, or zoom lens, are offered as long-range, ruggedized, LWIR/MWIR zoom lenses provide a crisp image over the full zoom range, with MTF close to their calculated diffraction limit.
These long-range zoom lenses are suitable for a wide range of commercial, security & surveillance, observation, UAV, and homeland security applications. The lenses are compatible with 12µm/17µm/15 µm VGA FPA.

MWIR Zooming Lens
Motorized focusing lens, or zoom lens, are offered as long-range, ruggedized, LWIR/MWIR zoom lenses provide a crisp image over the full zoom range, with MTF close to their calculated diffraction limit.
These long-range zoom lenses are suitable for a wide range of commercial, security & surveillance, observation, UAV, and homeland security applications. The lenses are compatible with 15/10 µm VGA FPA.
The Ophir SupIR 60-1200mm f/4 has a horizontal field of view (H-FOV) of 0.3°-8.6°. It is the latest addition to the SupIR SXGA/HD 10μm detector-compatible lens series and is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions, with an operating temperature range of -32°C to +85°C. These lenses feature Ophir's world-renowned abrasion-resistant, anti-reflective (AR) coating; IP 67 sealing; and a mechanical design that can withstand severe shock and vibration. They are designed for easy mechanical and electronic integration using Ophir's standard software for optimal integration, calibration and field operation. Additionally, these lenses feature a zoom controller for continuous zoom with focus hold, autofocus compensation throughout temperature and zoom range, close object focus mode, focus blur for NUC calculations, and complete zoom and focus positions . Manual and automatic controls.
The lens can identify small targets up to 18 kilometers away, making it ideal for long-range infrared applications
Narrow field of view (<0.7 degrees) allows more pixels on target
Powered continuous zoom lets you zoom while keeping your image
Lens controller automatically compensates for thermal deviation and keeps images over a wide temperature range
Athena™ programmable DSP controller gives you the freedom to set targets and calibrate lenses for varying field conditions
Operate and calibrate lenses using our simple and friendly GUI or via common communication protocols
